Finger-Lickin’ Ribs

What You’ll Need!

1 bottle George's Original BBQ Sauce (for marinating)

1 cup Dark Brown Sugar or Honey

Pat of Butter

1 cup Dijon Mustard

½ tsp Lemon Juice

1 rack of Baby Back Ribs

Measure George’s Special with your heart to glaze your ribs in the final steps!

Let’s Get Cooking!

NOTE: Marinading your ribs is optional - but is a great way to tenderize & build flavor into your meat before the heat. For the best results? Cut your marinade with water; we’d recommend 1/4 cup of George’s per cup of cold water. Soak your ribs for at most 20 - 30 minutes prior to cooking. (If you overdo it and soak your ribs too long, it can leave them tough and dry.)

  1. Smoke the ribs at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for two hours, unwrapped. The smoke will flavor the ribs and render out fat.

  2. Remove ribs from smoker and place them on foil. Add honey and butter to the flesh side of the ribs and then tightly wrap the ribs. Place back onto smoker for 2 more hours.

  3. Unwrap the baby backs, and cover the flesh side with George’s Special and some of your dijon, then smoke for an additional 30 minutes.

  4. Remove, let rest for 15 minutes, and then slice and serve with your favorite sides.
