George’s Simple Slaw

What You’ll Need!

Seasons & Spices

  • 1/4 cup of your favorite Mayo

  • 2/3 cup George’s Hot (Not a spice fan? #GrabAGeorges OG instead!)

  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 teaspoon celery seed

  • salt & pepper to taste!

Veggies & Cans

  • 1 medium head of cabbage, shredded

  • 1 large carrot, shredded

  • 1/2 red onion, finely sliced

Let’s Get Mixing!

  1. Prep ya veggies! In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, and sliced red onion.

  2. Get Mixing: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, and barbecue sauce until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

  3. Toss it all in: Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture. Add the celery seed, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss everything together until the vegetables are evenly coated with the dressing.

  4. Wrap & Chill: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. This allows the flavors to blend together and the coleslaw to become nice and crisp.

  5. Give the coleslaw a final toss before serving. It pairs wonderfully with grilled meats, sandwiches, or as a refreshing side dish at any barbecue.
